Product Links:
Associates Central Website


  • After logging into your account on affiliate-program.amazon.com, click on "Product Links" found under the "Product Linking" tab on the black bar.
  • Search for the item you want to link to either by keyboard or ASIN/ISBN.
  • Click “Get Link” button to right of item.
  • To get short link, click on the down arrow beside the “Get Link” button and click on “Shorten URL with amzn.to?”
  • Choose if you want Text and Image, Text Only, or Image Only and choose color options and whether you want it to open in new window.

  • Copy HTML code in box under “3. Get HTML Code For This Product Link”.
  • Paste the HTML code into the preferred section of your website.
Using Site Stripe on Amazon.com
  • Go to Amazon.com and locate Site Stripe at very top of the page.
  • Search on Amazon.com for the product you want to link to. 
  • Click on item to get to Product Details page.
  • On Site Stripe, click on desired product link option (Text, Image, or Text+Image).
  • For short link: click on Text and select the radio button beside “Short Link”
  • Choose options for product link.
  • Copy URL or HTML code and Past it into the code on your website.
Banners:

  • After logging into your account on affiliate-program.amazon.com, click on "Banners" found under the "Product Linking" tab on the top black bar.
  • Scroll down and select the category you would like to get a banner from.
  • You can choose which size banner you want by clicking on the size below the category you chose or you can scroll through the list to find the one you want.
  • Copy HTML code below the banner you want and Paste it in the code for your website.
Facebook/Twitter/Social Media Sites:
Using Associates Central Website
  • After logging into your account on affiliate-program.amazon.com. click on "Product Links" found under the "Product Linking" tab on the top black bar.
  • Search for the item you want to link to either by keyboard or ASIN/ISBN.
  • Click on the down arrow beside the “Get Link” button to see item link.
  • Click on “Shorten URL with amzn.to?” if you want a short link.
  • Copy link and paste into post on Facebook or Twitter.
  • This also works for most other Social Media sites accepted per the Operating Agreement.
Using Site Stripe on Amazon.com:
  • Go to item or page on Amazon.com that you wish to link to.
  • Click on either the Facebook “f” logo or the Twitter bird logo.
  • To share on other Social Media outlets, you can choose “Text” option and copy the link to paste on that Social Media post.
  • Sign into account if not already linked in the window that pops up.
  • Click on Share Link for Facebook or Tweet for Twitter.
Native Shopping Ads:

  • After logging into your account on affiliate-program.amazon.com, click on "Native Shopping Ads" found under the "Product Linking" tab on the top black bar.
  • Choose which type of Native Shopping Ad you would like by clicking on “Create Ad Unit” and selecting from the following:
  • Recommendation Ads are ads that automatically display relevant product recommendations from Amazon based on your page content and visiting users.
  • Search Ads are ads that allow your visitors to take advantage of search results from Amazon directly on your website. Include product recommendations based on search phrases or key words selected by you or entered by your visitors.
  • Custom Ads let you handpick your favorite products that you would like to promote and place the ad unit within your product article posts.
  • Select the Categories or items you would like to have in your ads, as well as the Fallback (in case the item or category is unavailable at some point on Amazon.com, this will fill in) and any Advanced Settings such as size.

The LumiWatch Runs Android and Turns Your Arm Into A Touchscreen

Six researchers at Carnegie Mellon University have published a paper detailing a wearable device called LumiWatch that not only projects information onto the arm, but also lets the user interact with the projections. The first prototype of the LumiWatch is said to come with a 15 lumen scanned-laser projector that uses red, blue and green lasers. The projection is said to be bright enough for outdoor usage. According to the researchers, the device would cost around $600 if it was brought to the market at this stage, but it's still only a prototype, so don’t expect to wear one on your wrist any time soon.
